PLEASE NOTE: I don’t usually go for whitening products and I am not crazy for whitening the skin in any other way. But then why did I bought this in the first place? Because I have noticed that the day creams in whitening product range have better SPF and PA levels in the market. :)

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PRODUCT: I was in my local market and I saw this and bought it, because I remember I read a blog post review of this product from VanityNoApologies blog few months back. She said that she loved it and she recommends this product to her readers.
I really needed a day time moisturizer with SPF since the Fab India Vitamin E SPF 30 was almost about to be finished that time.
I am really skeptical when it comes to skin care products, specially when it comes to my face! I avoid the 100% natural stuff brands and the ‘ayurvedic’ brands. My skin is very sensitive. And I don’t stick to one product for a long time. I like to switch it up rather then let my skin get used to that product and then that product not working on me like it used to before and I don’t want that to happen. Of course, I do research to if the reviews are good or not etc etc.
When I tried this on for the first time, I was surprised that its not so bad. It quickly gets absorbed to my skin, leaving it all moisturized. It did not break me out, since my chin area is an acne pron skin and it didn’t break me out that is actually a plus point for me.
The scent of this product is very mild and smells clean. And the scent doesn’t linger on the face for long.
I like the packaging. It doesn’t look cheap, it comes in a glass bottle with a plastic pump.
I tried out Lotus lip balms which I hated and I tried out their Shampoos and Hair Oil which did not suit me at all. So buying this was kind of like a gamble for me. I bought it, tried it, loved it and got my money’s worth of   it :).  Oh and one thing I like is that LOTUS HERBALS make good sun screen products. At the moment I am using the INTENSIVE SUNBLOCK SPRAY SPF 50 UVA INDEX-16 for my body.
But what about the SKIN WHITENING from this product?
Well for that I seriously have no clue actually XD. I tried to focus and see if I have gone a few shades lighter or something but NOPE. My skin shade is still the same and I have no problem with that lol.
But one thing for sure, if you want some day time moisture with sun protection for your face in a budget price which won’t burn a hole in your pocket then this one might suit your fancy. It doesn’t feel sticky and it gets absorbed quickly into the skin, leaving it smooth and soft ^_^.
This product is available in Indian local markets and Indian online stores.

By the way, that’s my dog. His name is Dawggie and lately he is not feeling well due to some skin allergy he got from an unknown plant or something so now he is injected with medicines to make him all well.
One thing for sure, he is drinking loads of water lately (because he doesn’t drink water that much normally) and peeing a lot to after that (he straight away goes to the bathroom and pees on the shower floor). And he is behaving like he is 90years old(in Doggy years) when he is actually 3 and a half years old!! All because of the medicines injected in his system. I just hope he gets well soon! He is my baby! And yes, he is a huge dog. ^_^.

  1. poor dawggie…i think he is behaving like a 90 yr old cos the injections would make him sedated. as soon as the dose wears off, he should be back to being your happy dawggie :))) i use this emulsion too, was using it regularly till i forgot about it, i remember now :)

  2. This looks nice! Yes, I have heard so many good reviews. But for some reason or other, never got to try them. May be next time I shop for moisturizers, I would get this one.Hey, don't worry. My rudimentary knowledge of biology tells me the symptoms are such that he would get well soon. The water is flushing the toxins out. Now, he would learn to be a good doggie and drink lots of water becasue he may realize how important it is :PDon;t worry. He would be fine.

    • Great thing about this moisturizer is that it has SPF 25 with PA+++ in a budget buy range which is light weight ^_^. Thank You Nivedita for informing me. Yes, he will be fine. He is recovering fast ^_^.
