Few days back I received an email from the Dove people that I was invited to a Dove event in Delhi and wanted to know if I was interested in it. I replied back yes and now I am here sharing my experience with you lovely people and subscribers out there. This wouldn't have happened without out you guys so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! ^_^.
The event was about Dove launching a revolutionary machine called Dove's Advanced Diagnostic Damage Meter which measures the damage that hides behind seemingly beautiful hair.
This event was held at LIGHT HOUSE in the MGF Mall, Saket. I was unlikely to go at first because Saket was far from my place plus the whole Nation wide strike happening with no autos that it felt like a pain in the end. But then the lovely lady called saying that they will be sending a cab for PICK AND DROP so that was the answer to today's auto strike which was great! Going and coming was a smooth ride.
I had to share the cab with another beauty blogger named Jiya from the ShoppingSylenUs blog. So do check her out. She was lovely and very sweet to talk to. It was great to have her with me over there at the event.
I met loads of lovely ladies over there. One was Priyanka from JagranCityPlus. She was very lovely too and easy to talk to.
The event started at 4pm the whole food and drinks was served to us while we were waiting for the event to start.
When we entered. They handed us this DOVE file. Which had all the info of whats to start first and whats all going to happen in this event.

We were sitting at a round table while Jiya and I were clicking of Priyanka saying "Its for our blogs." LOL. And as you can see its uploaded now! Women in the even were so pretty! She is pretty! lol.

Later on had Virgin Mojito.

After all this was done. I was waiting for my turn to meet Dr.Rohini Wadhwani for Consultation. Did that.
After all this was done. We received a bag with some Dove products in for us to try it out. A Panasonic Hair Dryer and a 4GB HP pen drive with Dove embossed on it.

In the end the event was great, food and drinks were yummy to tummy and the people there were very easy to talk to. Very polite plus very pretty ladies! And made new friends ^_^.
I bought this long time back in 2011. Lasted me the whole summer and winter. And I used this almost daily on my face. Color of this cream is very light lime green/minty green. The scent is kind of like a mixture of Cucumbers and Vitamin E. At that time I was looking for a face moisturizer with sunscreen for my daily wear so I picked this up. Its not a wow product but its not bad either. Its good for a budget product.
In the end I was quite satisfied with this product. Don't expect it to make your face all perfect or repair your skin. Its just a simple product to give you two solutions. One is the moisture and second is protection from the sun.
Its a great budget buy and you get a lot of product for that price. Its available in online stores and the Fab India Stores. Since, my skin is very sensitive and I always need to moisturize my face after a bath/shower. This product absorbs into my skin fast and works good if mixed with tiny bit of liquid foundation.
WILL I PURCHASE THIS AGAIN? Maybe. Since there are many products in the market I want to try out ^_^.

This whole thing came in my door step few minutes back. My Dad asked me "Whats this?" and I was like "Hmm...." Because how to really explain to a MALE SPECIES what a beauty box is exactly? And how even what Shiseido or Chambor is exactly to him?! Funny no? Or even why I am paying Rs.700 for it! XD.
I can't wait to try all these out. The perfume smells divine since I love perfumes with vanilla on it! At first I was kind of sad that I didn't received the Chambor Eye Shadow Treo but then I am kind of glad I didn't since I am not into eye shadows yet.
In the end I am glad I tried out the Blisscovered Box and will definitely order for the next months to come ^_^.
I needed a face moisturizer with SPF for my face ASAP because my FAB INDIA Vitamin E SPF30 finished. So, I bought this from the Chemist shop since it has PA+++ with SPF25. My face is so sensitive that if I don't wear SPF on my face then my face starts to go all red and irritate from the sun rays. So, this one was a budget buy so lets see if this suits me or not. Will do a review after few weeks of this use.
I am against BLEACHING when it comes to the face. I believe what GOD has given us, we should be happy with that and try to maintain that. Be happy with ourselves. So, why I bought BLEACH then? Because of my DARK ELBOWS! The story goes like this - All my life I have lived with carpets in my house or my family's house so I used to lay on the carpets and do whatever. So, never noticed that time about my elbows and no one told me that this would happen. So now, I have dark elbows. I tried lemon peels, coconut oil, thick moisturizers, scrubs but all failed. Right now I am really trying not to rest on my elbows while typing LOL. Last alternative is the BLEACH! So, here it is. Let's see if this works or not.
Since this was only for Rs.15 so I bought one. God knows when I will use this. Will do more research on this multani mitti before using this.

These came in the mail today. Ordered these few days back from MedPlusBeauty. I saw these in the local stores many times but they always had them in the bigger version. So, I thought why not order it online? I never sniffed them in real life so since they are only Rs.55/- each so I ordered three.
These are travel friendly sizes too which makes it great for me since I can now take them along in my gym bag and enjoy those after work out showers ^_^.
I thought trying out the local drug store shower gels would be good for a change since I non stop used up The Body Shop's shower gels that now I am kind of bored with them. I remember I used one of these LUX ones long time back and I loved how it lathers up so lets see if I will enjoy them now as well.
If you don't know it by now then sure, I won't mind repeating it again. I am a T Shirt lover lol. 99% of my top wear is mostly T shirts of all kinds. This time I found this site which sells Custom Made T shirts along with other different kinds in all shapes and sizes. They do CASH ON DELIVERY too.
I found this site to be pretty cool but didn't ordered anything from them until now. As you can see from the picture above on the top right side it says MAKE YOUR OWN T SHIRT so I clicked on that and I did the step by step as the site guided me through the options of what color of the T shirt I wanted and size etc etc.

Why I chose to get this character printed in the first place? Because she is a female character which would be better to wear for a change rather then wear a male character t shirt. Feminism in a tiny way lol. But yes, I find her very fascinating in a psychological way. How she comes up with evil plans again and again is just mind boggling to me, haha.
So, here is the T shirt!
I ordered this exactly 2 weeks back!! I was surprised how long they took! In the end I thought that the order is lost somewhere and I will never get my T shirt and lost all hope for it. But then 2 days back I received an email that it has been dispatched. So, I kind of got excited again. I just received it few hrs back. I quickly opened it up and saw the print. Its not that great or good but just OK types. The quality of the fabric is good. Not cheap but the print I had higher expectations. If you ask me, its not really worth it but at the same time depends what you really wanna get it done to make it worth it.. if that makes sense?
Wanted the print size of the photo to be bigger but then in the end of the day, what has been done has been done. :)
In the end I am quite happy with my T shirt cause I am a huge fan of the books and I will be rocking one of its characters on my chest. LOL
Over all I will give that site and the whole experience 2 in a half out of 5. Because they took way too much freaking time. They didn't even mentioned in the site anywhere that they are going to take that long to get a t shirt delivered.
I don't know if I will ever purchase from them again, any time soon.
