Blogathon Event: DELLBlogathon

It all started with Komal from TheDelhiFashionBlogger sharing a page in facebook called BLOGATHON where you had to fill up a form to register for the Delhi DELLBlogathon event where all kinds of blogger could meet in one roof and interact with each other! So me including other bloggers in the city registered and waited for our registration to be accepted. So, I was one of them to be invited and I was really excited for it and that day finally arrived, clicked loads of photos, met loads of new bloggers and handed out cards ^_^. 

• At 10:15 I got ready. 
• At 10:20 or so I reached my metro Station.
• At 11:00 or so I was waiting for Apurva from KalaPalette Blog in some metro station in Delhi.
• At 11:10 or so she arrived and God damn, what lovely hair she has there! (We hugged, we complimented each other, we talked! Oh, we so totally talked of God knows random things related to blogging, food, life and more food! haha.)
• At 12:00 or so we reached Rajiv Chowk, waiting for Komal to arrive. 
• At 12:20 or so we all met. I couldn't stop admiring (TheDelhiFashionBlogger) Komal's eyelashes and how adorable she looked and so sweet she sounded! (And yes, we hugged! Girls love to hug each other lol.) 
• And then at 12:40 or so we reached MGF Mall, Saket. Awungshi from Dr.IvyPoison Blog was waiting for us since she reached few minutes early.
• What a horrible Delhi Summer Weather!  So hot hot hot >__<
• Then we girls got all 100% ready in the lady's bathroom. 
• Awungshi (Dr.IvyPoison) texted us to meet her in the 'TheSecondSin' since she is already there!  
• Then at 13:10 or so we entered The Second Sin and there a man greeted us (My apologies for not asking your name dear man sir if you are reading this somewhere, out there.)  
• We had our own table reserved for us by the name of Fashion Bloggers. (I am not a fashion blogger lol. More like a beauty blogger.)

There was the whole talk about DELL, Yebhi.com and Belkin brand. After that, the lunch was served.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: It was really great to meet so many bloggers in one roof. Specially the pretty girl bloggers! The event was managed very well. Though there was some microphone problem going on in between but that really didn't stop the from not going on. The guys did well with their explanation of what the event was really all about, there was entertainment too of other fellow bloggers doing magic tricks and accent mimicking. There was even a contest of who so ever does the most tweets with hash tag of #DELLBlogathon will win a prize! The food was very very good and the dessert was really delicious for any chocolate blogger lover! haha. Even got served free beer! The really surprising thing of that day in the event for me was that we got to meet StylishByNature blogger! She was there with her husband. Her husband was busy clicking photos ^_^.

Haul Post: Sunglasses

I am loving this pic! I have never been to a B.E.A.C.H and yes, never been to Mumbai, Goa etc. as well including so many other regions of India. And all that BLAH BLAH BLAH never been places is another subject. Right now I want to talk about these AWESOME shades which I bought just yesterday, when I attended the DELLBLOGATHON event in MGF Mall in Saket with my lovely blogger girlfriends which I got to meet for the first time ever, which I will spill it all in my next post. 

As we (Awungshie from Dr.PoisonIvy Blog and I) were in MGF mall (at 7pm or so) in Saket, we walked into the Select City Walk Mall and there was this shop/booth kind of thing where they were selling eye wear.  Shop's name:

Mouse on Mouse Action! lol

Finally, my mouse arrived in the mail today, few minutes back! I ordered it from FlipKart few days back. This is the only cheapest, cute looking mouse I could find at the moment since my pocket is very tight at the moment. 

This came for Rs.256/-  in FlipKart but in the package the price said Rs.375/- So, it kind of feels like I hit a bargain or something lol. 

So, if I had bought this from a shop or a mall then I would had to pay the full price and paying full price sometimes is no fun lol. 

Its small, light and easy to use! Looks cute and matches with my black Laptop ^_^.

But one thing I am not happy about is that now I feel like flipkart is taking more time to deliver my ordered items. They are adding so many kinds of jazz in their kitty that their old customers end up waiting few more extra days for their ordered items to arrive. >__<.  

I am glad I have a mouse now so editing pictures and so on will be much more quicker! It gets totally slow with the mouse track pad on the laptop some times. So, here I am Click Click Clicking away! hehe.

I was in Khan Market awhile back and guess how much exactly I had in my wallet? Rs.350/- ONLY! And I really needed a lip balm cause my lips were feeling all so dry for so many days. The lip balms I had weren't doing the moisture work as it should be doing. I love The Body Shop lip balms! I specially have a special place in my heart for the Vitamin E lip balm! Not kidding. I'v already used up three tubes of the Vitamin E lip balm tubes last year. Its like once you try the lip balms from TBS then you don't feel like going back. 

It hasn't been a day yet with this lip balm so this isn't exactly a 'review' post. More like me blabbering and how excited I am that I finally got my hands on one of these babies! 

Sure, it has shimmer but not like a glitter bomb, more like a nice subtle shimmer for daily use. Its not as moisturizing as the Vitamin E lip balm but it is moisturizing. 

The packing is really cute and girly looking in the look-wise department but in functionality wise its kind of 'bleh'. Its kind of flimsy but not horrible.  

It has a sweetish scent to it and if your really into Lychee or in the mood for some Lychee then you might like this one! 

Is it worth buying? 

Totally, yes!

My Experience With Kiehl's Shop in Khan Market

When I heard that Kiehl's store has opened up in Delhi, I got very excited but then that excitement vanished when found out that it opened in South Delhi side! Because its very far from where I live. Then later, I found out that it opened up in Khan Market as well! I was near Khan Market yesterday and thought that I would visit the store to see how its like and to know about the product and maybe get some free samples as I have heard in the blogger world but alas! No free samples! I have a complaint about this in India and the stores here don't give out free samples! But I at least got a free consultation out of it :).

My Skin Type:

• My cheeks are super dry.
• My T zone can become oily and
• My chin breaks out most of the time.

So, the guy wearing a white coat (btw he was very fair and had good skin!) stuck some kind of paper patch on my cheek and on my forehead and studied it with a chart he had next to him. I wasn't carrying my camera that time so my apologies for not able to click photos of my experience there.

He then went to the side where the skin care products were displayed and took out few products and showed me one by one to recommend me this so n so product for my 'skin type' which are as follows:

My Retin A ointment from the chemist shop which came less then Rs.100 does wonders for my chin break outs so I feel like the 'Acne Blemish Control Daily Skin-Cleaning Treatment' feels like its not really that worth it if you know what I mean. 

I find that Kiehl's brand is not for everyone since everyone has a different budget for skin care and this one feels more like a luxury skin care with that price tag. But Yes, the products there do look tempting!
