♥Vicks and MedPlusBeauty♥

BEHOLD!!

 THE MIGHTY VICKS VAPOR RUB
(Rs.79/-)

AND

 THE KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR

 SIR. VICKS INHALER!
(Rs.30/-)

And yes, they are both madly in love with each other and they are a gay couple because I said so lol.

They both work great together hand in hand. They both came to my rescue last night. Mostly allergies. My nose is very sensitive and one thing leads to the other and BOOM! Bharti is sick all over again but this time Bharti fought back and survived! *I think...? lol.* Usually, no one talks about these two that much. I was sneezing so so much last night. Non stop for 3hrs or so. I was about to faint until I found my Vicks Inhaler and then relieved of sneezing and helped me to stop sneezing. Funny how small silly things saves the day in the end.

♥Food and Other Random Stuff♥

Good Lord, its been a long long time I haven't done a food post. So, here I am doing one for your eyes which will send a signal to your tummies which will signal back to your tongues to water all over your computer screens lol. The story goes like this, on 25th of September - Tuesday. Me and my fellow blogger friend Awungshi a.k.a Doctor Poison Ivy (but seriously, don't be scared, she is not poisonous. More like a fluffy bunny who dresses very well lol.) planned to go to Kamla Nagar Market. We went there because I needed to get my ears pierced and heard that Kamla Nagar Market is good for cheap, affordable piercing. But seriously, that place sucks for "cheap" piercing and the roads are all damaged and rocky that when you walk, you have to really be careful of not twisting your ankle accidentally. Plus, the weather was hot, my make up was melting lol. I mean, it wasn't that bad. We went to a Korean Snack Cafe (I forgot the name of that cafe so I am calling it the Korean Snack Cafe for now.) which was right next to the parlor where I got my hair cut done. I did a blog post about that here. I'll do a proper blog post of that cafe later once I save enough money for my new camera. They serve dishes like Korean Pan Cakes for Rs.50/- Small Kimchi for Rs.50/- for 6 pieces and Hot Ramen Noodles for Rs.110/- and so many different kind of Teas and Coffees. Plus, free wifi and air conditioned place! I know I know, too good to be true lol. I want to visit that cafe again soon. Okay, I am really drifting away from what I am "suppose" to type here lol.

We got so busy with our food and gossip that we forgot to click more photos lol.  I am kind of looking weird in this one but that's the only pic we clicked of ourselves that day.

That's Korean Pan Cake for Rs.50/- Which is not too sweet but hot, fluffy and soft to eat ^_^. This picture was taken by Awungshi - blogger of Dr.PoisonIvy.
Anyways, blah blah blah the next day I was totally exhausted and my blogger friend Awungshi got food poisoning so I feel really really bad that it all happened because of me cause I wanted to go to Kamla Nagar and she lives really close to Kamla Nagar >_<. If your reading this Awungshi, I am sorry...~.~'

I actually had to attend the Kama Ayurveda's opening event in Khan Market on 26th but couldn't cause of my body feeling crappy. But thank God I was at home that day because I noticed my Doggie's eyes looking weird and he was looking depressed and I got so worried thinking of all kind of deadly dog eye diseases and Googling what it can exactly be and was waiting for the Vet Clinic to open up so that I could take my Doggie for the eye problem check up.

And by the way, did you know that my Dog's doctor is more expensive then a human doctor check up fee? lol. But thank God it wasn't anything serious (touch wood). Some foreign object got stuck in his eyes and the Vet Doctor rubbed some kind of lubricant on his both eyes ad injected him with three kinds of medicine to help his eyes heal. But one thing which really bothered me was that the Vet Doctor and his assistant weren't wearing any gloves!? Funny thing was that the Vet Doctor wrote something which even the Chemist Shops here couldn't read his hand writing lol. Then later on the next day I found out that now I'v got the eye infection. Called Conjunctivitis a.k.a Pink Eye. The last time I had an eye infection was when I was 12 or so LOL. And my fellow blogger friend Awungshi came to the rescue by texting me what kind of eye drops I need and thanks to that the itchy feeling is gone and my eye is recovering. Plus, my periods might start any day now so I am so moody these days.
I ended up buying these junk food which you see in the pic above. Instead of coke and other sweetened sodas, I chose these Catch Flavored Water. Have you seen how they make Coca Cola and other soft drinks? Its scary! They add SO MUCH of sweet corn syrup to make it sweet and co much of color. And its so addictive! These Catch Flavored Water have been in the Indian Market for a very long time. Taste is not all that great but it relieves the thirst for the soft drinks for that moment.
(from L to R) Black Current, Lemon and Peach. Each for Rs.40/-

I love Cheese, I LOVE Cheese Pizzas lol. I love Cheesy food lol. So, I picked up Cheese Nachos. These were for Rs.30/- each and I feel you can never go wrong with Cheese Nachos no matter what the brand is called.  These were very tasty. Cheesy and Salty. Anyways, I am logging off for now. Thank You for reading ^_^''.

♥Maybelline♥ ♥Baby Lips♥ ♥Anti-Oxidant Berry♥

Oh boy oh boy, FINALLY! I have with me the lip balm which everyone has been talking about and took a very very long time to come into the markets of India but sadly with a different packaging. I did a little bit of Googling and it looks like this different packaging is for the Asia side. There were tinted Baby Lips as well but I felt that they reminded me of Refreshing Tinted Lip Balms in Strawberry by Maybelline which launched in India more then a year back or so? I mean, with the same old packaging, the product itself which calls itself a "New Launch" doesn't sound so exciting anymore.

(Please maximize the picture above for reading the ingredients etc.)

I still bought it anyways cause look at the packaging! So ridiculously cute! Love anything which is the combination of baby blue and baby pink color! Both of them look so cute together ^_^. Plus, I love lip balms, a person can't have enough of lip balms lol. Its so funny that we want baby soft skin, baby soft hair, baby type face and so on on with the obsession of how delicate and soft babies are and now a lip balm for adults called Baby Lips! haha.

MAYBELLINE

♥Herbal Essences♥ ♥DRAMA CLEAN♥

I am the type of person who would use just any kind of shampoo and conditioner as long as it gets the work done. I don't really care much about "OMG it has parabens so I can't use it." That is why you don't see that much of "herbal" stuff reviews in my blog lol. Recently I got too comfortable using the same shampoo and conditioner again and again for 2-3 months that in the end I was like "Hey, I am a beauty blogger, I can't use the same thing again and again. If it goes on like this then there won't be no new reviews!" So once my usual Sunsilk black conditioner and some random ass shampoo finished, I straight away went to the nearest local market and picked these two up. Funny thing is that my boring existence now has some excitement cause of new shampoo and conditioner XD. I look forward to washing my hair now lol.

Now, I am not new to Herbal Essence brand. I used the Hello Hydration 2in1 shampoo + conditioner and the Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner. The only thing I liked about the Hello Hydration line was the scent of product. I loved how good it smelled but sadly it made my hair look dry and dull. So, I never repurchased that again.

This time I was looking for something which would help with my oily head. Recently, a month back or so I had this horrible break out on my chin and cheek area that I went to the dermatologist and with in a week or so my troubled skin healed and went back to normal *touch wood* but my old face type which was dry became oily face type and my hair roots oily too. So I felt like I wanted to shampoo my hair twice.>_<
And that's why I chose Drama Clean from Herbal Essences ^_^.

Herbal Essences
DRAMA CLEAN
Refreshing Shampoo Rs.179/- {$3.31}
and
 Refreshing Conditioner Rs.179/- {$3.31}

In some Indian online stores, its available for Rs.170/- {$3.15}

IT SAYS:

If you the kind of person looking for a no-nonsense shampoo that just cleans your hair search no more. Get dramatically clean hair with Herbal Essences Drama Clean Shampoo. The lightweight formula contains citrus blossom and green tea extracts to effectively cleanse build up and excess sebum from your hair. The hydro-activated silkening ingredients in Drama Clean Shampoo give your hair that gorgeous natural shine you always wanted. This fresh Herbal Essences Shampoo can be used on men as well women and is suitable for use on all hair types. So get set to flaunt squeaky clean hair bursting with shine with Herbal Essences Drama Clean Shampoo.

MY EXPERIENCE

This shampoo smells nice. It lathers very well. Made my hair feel clean but not annoyingly super clean as if you need loads of conditioner for that kind of clean. More like your skull cleaned from oils but your hair still feels moisturized kind of clean. The shampoo looks green in color, kind of reminds me of green apple toffee even though it doesn't exactly smells like green apple lol.

IT SAYS

For hair that’s beautifully clean, shiny and resplendent with health, look no further than this amazing conditioner from Herbal Essences. Bask in the goodness of citrus blossom and green tea extract that will tackle build up and impurities that accumulate in your hair over the course of your daily routine. Give your locks a beautiful natural shine with the Herbal Essences Drama Clean Conditioner that is enriched with silkening ingredients for soft, lush hair. Suitable for women with normal hair, this unique conditioner has a lightweight formula so that your hair doesn’t feel weighed down. With a light pleasing fragrance that lingers on your hair all day, the Drama Clean Conditioner is the one stop solution to all your haircare needs. Your hair will love the nourishment of orange flower and corn silk extracts that dramatically cleanse hair so that it radiates health, hygiene and happiness. Give your tresses the best of nature’s bounty and don’t be surprised when the compliments pour in.

MY EXPERIENCE:

I have used this for two weeks now. I usually wash my hair every day. And I have been washing my hair daily for many years now and sometimes I give a two day break if I have no where else to go but that's when I notice I loose more hair after the two day break of no washing hair so I like to wash my hair daily. I know I know, washing hair daily is bad and so on but I some how like my hair to be fresh and clean and smooth almost every day. I know some girls out there like to wash their hair daily too so thank God, I am not alone when it comes to this lol.

This DRAMA CLEAN shampoo and conditioner don't have that tropical sweet coconut scent of the Hello Hydration from Herbal Essences but the scent is not bad. Its a nice okay sweet scent which doesn't stay that long. It kind of vanishes when the hair dries completely. I am okay with that. My ends of the hair was kind of dried out and when I started using this for a week or so, I quickly noticed that my dry hair was recovering and wasn't giving the dry feeling while touching it and gave shine to my hair as well. Plus, kind of look forward for a head wash cause the shampoo is forest green in color and the conditioner is creamy light green in color plus the bottle design is such that its easy to squeeze out the product at ease.

In the end, better to not have high expectations when buying a product, more higher chances of letting you down. I wasn't expecting much from this and I am glad that it did not disappoint me much.  It surely gives a clean feeling and gives moisture to the hair and shine

How was your experience with Herbal Essences brand?

♥Hello Kitty Eye Frame♥

I tweeted about this. I even updated my fb statuses with the whole excitement of this little baby reaching my door step and me finally wearing it and loving it! I ordered this from Ebay on August 7th and it finally reached my place on 14th September!! Wow, more then a month, yeah waiting is such a pain but when it reaches and its in 100% good condition, feels so good! Waiting that long doesn't matter any longer XD.

AND... Finally, I took these to the Optical Shop near where I live and got my eye power checked cause the last time I got my eye power checked was 2008 so now 2012 got it checked and yup, my eye power gotten more worse now XD. Now, I really can't see without my glasses on. I need my glasses all the time to do all kinds of stuff lol.

One thing for sure, I was quite surprised that the Optical Shop charged me only Rs.150/- {$2.76} for the powered glasses or whatever you call it.

This is the buyer from who I bought these glasses from so if you wanna check it out then click HERE. These glasses cost me $1.99 with free international shipping.

So these are my daily glasses and I am loving it! ^.~

What do you think?

APPEARANCE:
When I saw these for the first time while browsing the circle lenses in the circle lens shopping website. These really caught my eye. These are eye catching and very out there on your face kind of design. These are more suitable for Cosplay or if your into doll like style. The color really shows on my very dark brown eyes.

COMFORT:
When I first tried them on, it was a little uncomfortable but after 5 minutes it was okay. I wore this for more then a week or so to test them out. Some days I wore it for 6hrs and some times 2-3hrs. I could feel a little shifting of the lens when I blinked but that was solved when I applied some eye drops. I would say that these are not the "most" comfortable but they did not irritate my eyes or give me a headache in the end of the day. Plus, it was easy to pop them in because the size is not that big.

OVERALL:
Overall, these are great if your into Cosplay or you like to dress up a little different and you want to spice it up with some eye catching circle lenses then these you might like to try out. With these lenses you need the proper full-on make up to balance the dramatic color of these lenses. It takes time to get used to this design when you wear them. My dad said that these look a little freaky on me but I kind of like it how it looks on me haha. These circle lenses sure grabs attention and if your looking for a attention grabbing circle lenses then you might like to try this one. But if your looking for the whole "natural" look then avoid this one. ^_^

HOW IT LOOKS ON ME:

Oh wait...wrong pic XD.

♥NOTD - Tiffany Roses♥

I used DEBORAH MILANO Sence TECH 100% MAT IN #04 as base and then used Konad plate #m65 and then used Konad Special Top Coat to seal the whole design.

I am loving the quality of the DEBORAH 100% MAT nail paint. Even after three days my nail did not chip and that's something impressive ^_^.

At the moment I can't stop thinking about roses. Specially those wall rose creepers. They are great for photo back ground. I am thinking to try my luck on gardening and try growing some roses from scratch!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley launches her highly anticipated first collection, designed exclusively for Marks & Spencer
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley says “I’ve really enjoyed working closely with M&S to create my own collection and I am so proud to see it in M&S stores and online”

Rosie is wearing Autograph Peplum Dress

The Rosie for Autograph Collection comprises of stunning pieces which include luxurious silk lingerie sets, cami and French knicker sets, a teddy and a kimono style robe. Bras and knickers come in several different shapes to enhance and flatter the figure and are finished with delicate pin tucked silk, fine lace edging and intricate deco detailing. Printed pieces are adorned with beautiful rose prints in muted tones.
The collection encompasses the chic and sophisticated look synonymous with the Autograph brand, combined with the expertise and inspiration drawn from Rosie’s extensive experience in the fashion industry

Rosie says, “To find inspiration for the collection, I trawled my favourite vintage shops and flea markets in London, LA and Paris where  I found a treasure trove of gorgeous clothes and ornate pieces of jewellery, as well as pictures and patterns found in old design books and fashion magazines.”

“I was particularly drawn to the opulent elegance of the 20s era which really shows in my designs from the sumptuous silks I chose to the intricate deco inspired embroidery detailing on the garments.”

“The palette was not only inspired by my favourite 20s pieces, but also it was largely influenced by the rich colours of different types of roses. From the muted tones of dusky pink and green through to dramatic scarlet blooms, I wanted the palette to evoke the beauty of a gorgeous British garden in Summer.”

“I also drew on my experiences as a model to create lingerie pieces that work on the body and are as comfortable to wear as they are beautiful. My goal was to create a luxurious collection which could flatter women of all ages and sizes, inspiring confidence and making women feel gorgeous in their lingerie. I made sure each design incorporated different shapes of bra and knicker together with camis and kimonos to complement the figure.”

“The logo for my collection was designed around the rose motif. Incorporating the image of the rose and conveying the feminine luxury of my collection was really important to me. Each piece will be recognisable by a tab engraved with my Rosie for Autograph logo.”

“I’ve really enjoyed working closely with Soozie and her team to create my own collection and I will be so proud to see it in M&S.”

With the vision of creating a truly exquisite lingerie collection, careful consideration has been given to the materials and fabrics, using the finest lace designed by top French lace houses combined with Swiss-designed couture embroidery. Luxury silks which are developed to be machine washable are used as well as top of the range microfibers.

Soozie Jenkinson, Head of Design for Lingerie at M&S says, “It’s been a great experience working together with Rosie. She is as passionate about beautiful lingerie as we are. We have combined Rosie’s ideas with our extensive expertise in lingerie design and development to create a truly luxurious collection which is not only beautiful but also extremely accessible and affordable for our customers.”

The collection will be available at select stores in India from October.

I am loving how the new lingerie collection collaborated with Marks & Spencer AND non other then the Victoria Secret Model and Actress  -  Rosie Huntington Whiteley ^_^. Even though its on the pricey side it doesn't matter since I bet the quality of lingerie from Marks & Spencer doesn't fail to impress me. Truth be told, I want to at least own a bra from this collection. I really liked the rose printed set and the navy non padded set in this collection. *I just pray that they have this in my size since I am on the heavier side ^_^'. Usually Marks & Spencer's bras don't fit me that well so I end up with zero bras from that brand. I hope this new collection doesn't rain on my dreams when I try them on lol.*

Do comment below and share which one you liked in this collection ^_^.
