♥My Blog Badge + Blog Information♥

Just wanted to announce that I have created a BADGE for my blog. If anyone is interested to exchange Blog Badge with me then do let me know and we can help each other out to increase our blog's traffic ^_^.

In case your wondering what's a blog badge? Creating a blog badge is a perfect way to brand your blog and great way to advertise your blog. It promotes your blog's name, look, feel and mission in one simple image. You can use your blog's unique button on sidebars etc. Another blogger can grab your blog button and post it on their sidebar, it opens you up to new visitors and more followers. In a nutshell, your blog button is your main advertising tool. ^_^

To do that, you can simply design a 125 x 125 size image for your blog and make sure its presentable and eye catching. You can design one in a photo editing software like Photoshop, GIMP etc. Upload it in PhotoBucket. Once you have all that ready then Google "How To Make A Blog Button" and you will find many tutorials there ^_^.

I hope this helped. Do let me now if your interested to exchange badges with me ^_^.

♥For the love for Tea Bags♥

Winter in Delhi has started even though its not super cold yet. For me, this is the season when I go 100% tea crazy person and I love to have variety, options to choose from when I am in a mood for a cup of tea. My tea cravings has already started now. Even if I am in a restaurant, I feel like sipping on a cup of Green Tea Lemon (without sugar and milk) instead of a soda drink with junk food lol. For a cup of tea, I microwave my cup of water for 1 to 1 and a half minutes and then decide which ones I am in the mood to drink. Usually, in the mornings I love to drink strong tea like Cardamon Tea or Lemon Tea with sugar and milk. During the afternoons and evenings I drink Green Tea Lemon or Green Tea without sugar and milk.

Some how I find Tea Bags super cute and compact plus travel friendly. And I love my Tea Bags to come in individually packed sealed envelops so that they would last longer.

Few days back I ordered these tea bags from HealthKart.com which arrived in the mail just yesterday. I am loving it! Its by a brand called JAY which is manufactured in Kolkata, India. Currently, they are having this offer of BUY1GET1FREE so if your interested then you can try it out ^_^. They have flavors like Cranberry Apple, Apple Cinnamon, Green Tea, Green Tea Lemon, Kashmiri Kahwa (Green Tea, Cinnamon and Cardamon) , Masala etc. The ones which I bought was Green Tea Lemon (Rs.150/- for 25 tea bags) and Kashmiri Kahwa (Rs.150/- for 25 tea bags) with the BUY1GET1FREE offer, I got 100 Tea Bags! LOL.

So, yesterday I went to Goodlife.com and purchased some more tea bags of Peach, Mango and JAY's Apple Cinnamon Tea Bags as well.  But my all time favorite tea which I will repurchase again and again would be TWINING'S CLASSIC ASSAM TEA (which I need to buy that today since its finished).

So, tell me what's your favorite tea at the moment? (please do mention the brand in the comment down below). And I hope I am not the only CRAZY tea lady over here haha.

♥Battle of the Bollywood Brides!♥

I find Bollywood to be a very cliched and full of annoying dance sequences every 10 minutes. I am not going to lie here and pretend that I love Bollywood so much just to blend in. But I don't hate Bollywood. I do sometimes watch some Bollywood movies online once in awhile (which typically makes me end up saying WTF lol.) or just start watching a random Bollywood movie while changing channels on T.V. I sometimes like to watch Bollywood trailers in YouTube just for the sake of it. But I really avoid watching Bollywood in movie halls because I don't want to give Bollywood the satisfaction of taking my money XD.

But I am a girl who loves weddings and wedding gossip just like every girl out there! :D

Anyways, I was planning to do a Bollywood post then I changed my mind BUT since I already made this 'amateur' photo editing of these Bollywood Married Divas, thought why not share it with you guys ^_^.

Btw, SRK is there cause he 'romanced' with almost all of these heroins and Imran Khan as well who recently got married lol.

Looks like my doodling sucks but I tried lol.

♥ASOS♥ ♥Rabbit Across Body Bag♥

This was my first time shopping from ASOS. Its an online store which is pretty famous and some how does not need an introduction. People from all over the world shop from this website for fashion related items like clothes, bags, accessories and cosmetics. They do FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING and the ordered items reach usually with in 8 to 14 days time.  I knew about this site for a long time and always end up window - online - shopping, browsing through their items for sale. They have so many items in their site that I get confused of what I want to even purchase from them. And one day I was browsing through their "bags" section cause I really needed an everyday bag/purse kind of thing for carrying a cellphone and wallet. And then I saw this bag which really made my heart skip a beat!

Price: 35.18$ (Rs.1884.37/-)

I was looking for a small bag in brown color and some how thought that this color is really what I was looking for in the first place. Plus, the rabbit gold metal in the middle is like an icing on the cake! Reminds of winters (which is my favorite weather), Christmas and Alice in Wonderland :D. Plus, my late bunny Daisy, who passed away earlier this year. So, I quickly started buttering my father to buy this for me as an early Diwali gift! It wasn't hard to convince my Dad since his weakness is anything with bunnies on it! Bunnies are his weakness and so are mine. So, made an ASOS account and added this to my shopping cart and made a purchase of Rs.1884.37/- :D

With in two days the ordered item was shipped and took exactly 13 Days to reach to it's given address destination in India. When I saw the ASOS cardboard box which the post man was holding, I had a huge smile on my face! I was like, "Thank God it finally arrived!"... And then I saw the cardboard box was a little crushed but thank God that the item inside was all in good condition and I am loving how it is looking in real life :D. It was my first time shopping from ASOS and I know that I will be shopping from this site soon though not in the near future cause I am busy saving up for a new camera ^_^.

In the last picture it looks pink purple but in reality it looks dark maroonish brown color. The camera did not captured the color well in the last pic.

How was your shopping experience from ASOS?

♥REVLON♥ ♥ColorBurst Lipstick in GRAPE♥

Remember I did a short blog post on Vampy Lip trend for this up coming fall awhile back? I was looking for a dark maroon-ish color in a matte form from REVLON but sadly, that time they did not have the shade which I was looking for. In the end, this color caught my eye and I swatched it on my hand and fell in love with the color. Priced at Rs.610/- in REVLON counters and in some online stores if your lucky then you might find one for Rs.500/- something on selected shades in this particular range. I am at this stage in my life where I am not scared of exploring with lip colors on myself and found this color very pretty.

♥PREVIEW♥ ♥Grape Lipstick♥

This is just the preview. Will be doing a proper swatch and how it looks on me plus the review of this lipstick in another time. When I was buying the Revlon Lip Butter Cherry Tart, I asked the SA there to show me the matte lipsticks from REVLON since I am a matte lipstick lover but she told me that the mattes have been discontinued. I was kind of shocked by that. Maybe the SA there doesn't know what matte really means - __ -'. I was looking for a good dark-gothic kind of lip color for the up coming Delhi winter. This was the shade which caught my eye and I tried it on at the counter and loved how it looked on me. Its a creamy lipstick but thank God, it's not glossy looking. This is my first ColorBurst lipstick from REVLON

Have you tried their lipsticks yet? If so then which ones your favorite so far? ^_^.

♥IndiBlogger + Pantene Event♥

First of all I would like to thank Ritu blogger of TheIndianBeauty for allowing me to use these photos for my blog which was clicked by her camera ^_^. At the moment my old digital camera which I used to use is for now not working and these days I have been using a phone camera which clicks horrible photos indoors. Since this event was indoors, my phone camera was of no use and some how I won't allow myself to use those horrible photos for my blog or for any blog for that matter haha *sad laugh*.

Now to the event post! Indiblogger's site was doing an event with PANTENE for Indiblogger members for women (If your a blogger in India then you MUST check Indiblogger and register your blog there. Great contests and events happening for each and every state which the Indiblogger members can participate ^_^.) and I was one of them to fill in one of the few seats which was left. This event was held in ITC Sheraton Hotel in Saket from 11am to 5:30pm. I knew that I was going to be late cause first it was SUNDAY and second I had to take my dog for a walk for his so called business, feed him breakfast and then take a shower and get ready and the whole make up applying took me more then 30mins LOL. How long does it take for you to get ready? (Be honest here lol).

I was in the metro and some how was not in the mood to go because Saket is so far away from where I live and secondly, I was feeling plain lazy but still I went and when I was about to reach the Saket Metro Station I bumped into Apoorva blogger of KalaPalette and her sister there who were also on their way for the same event :D.

Now you must be wondering "err...what the?" in the first picture above. When this was happening in front of me, all I could think of was, "This is such a waste of toilet paper..." lol. By the time we reached there, there was some contest activity happening called MUMMY where we had to form a group and choose one person to wrap the whole toilet paper roll sets that we were given and it sure was fun...to watch! XD.

Oh God, this photo makes me laugh so much. Love how Shalini blogger of BeBeautilicious is looking so funny and cute while getting all rolled up in toilet paper haha.

Plus, someone like me who arrived a tad bit late so everything was happening so fast that I just watched while all the women in the event started rolling out toilet paper and sticking stick on notes on them.

 And who won?

The youngest blogger, 13yr old Shreeya Sharma who blogs about her art work and creativity :D.

Don't remember his name but surely remember his face. Saw him in the Indiblogger + DOVE event last time. This man was entertaining us and guiding us on what the next thing we were going to do. There was a different room behind where hair spa was happening. All the women were given numbers on a piece of paper so whenever their number appeared in the huge screen, they had to go for their "hair spa" which was basically Shampoo and Conditioning with PANTENE NATURE FUSION plus blow drying of the hair.

After that there was a 30 Seconds Introduction where the screen showed the name of the person and that person had to get up and were given a mic where they had to introduce themselves to everyone and there was few lines that they had to read and if they did that properly then a surprise gift/prize was given :D. I myself personally was shit scared of what I was going to say if my name popped up >_<. And yes, my name popped up in the huge screen so I got up and took the mic and introduced myself then I had to read the lines on the screen and for that I had to tell everyone that I wasn't wearing my specs to I walked all the way towards the screen to read the lines and for that I was given a small surprise gift! :D. I was surprised and full of joy and thanked the Indiblogger guy for handing me the little surprise gift woohoo! By the way if your wondering what the gift was, it was a small battery operated head massaging machine :D.

This picture shows that there was a balloon bursting activity or something like that. This was before I arrived so can't say much about that. After 2pm the lunch was served. Sadly, I forgot to click photos of the food so in that part no food photos. The food was great. Both veg and non veg was there. Biryani, paneer dishes, fish yellow curry, salad, dessert was gulab jamuns, ice cream, kulfi, and jallebies :D.

And then this pretty Dr. Lais Koelle from Brazil talked about the history of PANTENE and the NATURE FUSION product and the whole goodness about the product. And specially explained us about the Cassia Plant which is one of the main ingredients added in PANTENE's Nature Fusion line.

After that we all were given flowers and a flower pot where we had to do flower arrangement and few stuff to decorate and create a pretty flower something - something in the end, ours looked like this. I know I know, no need to be polite and lie that ours look pretty. Ours looked weirdest is what it looked in reality lol. We laughed, we gossiped and we laughed some more. I, myself enjoying the pretty flowers, started making jokes and wearing few left over flowers on my hair lol.

We were served coffee and tea with cookies later on.  Met new bloggers and made new blogger friends! :D. No matter how many followers you have in your blog, there's a different feeling all together when a person comes up to you and tells you how much they like reading your blog and some how makes my life feel so complete! Making me feel that my life means something and worthwhile! Yes, I am such an emotional person XD.

Yashodhara Lal, the author of "Just Married, Please Excuse" she was talking about Happer Collins contest for GETTING PUBLISHED and informing us that if anyone of us is interested then we can participate :D. Do check that out if your interested ^_^.

And then in the end we all received a PANTENE gift bag and inside there was a Shampoo and Conditioner bottle of their newly launched PANTENE NATURE FUSION hair care line and a green zip pouch and an Indi Blogger + Pantene T shirt which I was wearing while I was clicking this pic lol. And we all received a Paper Sky Balloon from PANTENE. Its a balloon made out of paper which you gently, carefully unfold and there is a flat stand where you place a t-light and you have to make a wish and then release it into the dark night sky. I'm very excited about this one because I have seen it in loads of K-Dramas where people get together and light their paper balloon and makes a wish and of course romance happen as well because its a K-Drama! haha.

Picture taken from Google Images as an example and doesn't belong to me.

This is how the Paper Sky Balloon looks like and when you make your wish, you release this and it goes up. In the end, I had so much of fun thanks to Indiblogger and the PANTENE people. And ladies, if any of you reading this who attended this event were there then please leave a comment down below with your blog's address and I will follow you back ^_^.

Loads of love,

♥REVLON♥ ♥Lip Butter♥ ♥Cherry Tart ♥

REVLON
ColorBurst
Lip Butter
in
Cherry Tart
Price: Rs.600/- (11.4$)

I know its weird to say this but ever since I found out that the lip butters are now launched in India and is available in every major REVLON counters in India. I was like "Wahhhhht...." and then found out that it is true and the price tag was really disappointing on top of that. After that I couldn't stop thinking about these lip butters, I was dreaming about them. Wanting them all for myself and I know, its an over rated product. How many gazillion reviews we checked online but its one of those things that you NEED to try it out for yourself and get the satisfaction of owning one and then deciding for yourself about the finale verdict itself. I decided to get two lip butters at first but then in the end I only purchased one lip butter. The S.A's in India are weird first of all. I was kind of in a hurry and I was with my Dad on top of that. I'm usually not the type to just stand there and start talking. I like to get my things done fast without the talks. When this lady S.A of REVLON counter saw me standing there. She was like

"Yes, maam"

"REVLON lip butters" *wondering why its not displayed on the counter*

"which shade?"

"Show me all NOW" *what do you mean which shade?! Bloody hell HOW THE HELL WOULD I KNOW WHICH SHADE I WANT UNLESS I TRY IT OUT FIRST* lol.

*She takes out a small cardboard box full of REVLON lip butters which was hidden and asks again* "Which shade?"

*Oh God this lady I swear...* "Show me all the shades please...quickly.."

*she grabs my hand and starts swatching on them one by one very slowly..*

*I tell her to hand me a mirror so that I can try it on my lips one by one and see if I like it or not*

and then in the end I decided to just get one lip butter called Cherry Tart and one ColorBurst lipstick in GRAPE which is another post for later.

And the funny thing is that whenever my Dad is around, I end up asking him "hows this lipstick on me?" as if his comments matter at all when it comes to lipstick decision making LOL.

First thing first, lets talk about the packaging: Doesn't feel cheap when your holding it. I really like the look of the packing. The cap is color coordinated with the shade of the product so it makes it easier to choose which color you want to try out. The cap is a frosted plastic with a quilted design on two sides. The twist up mechanism is silver metal and twists easily. But the only problem I have with the packaging design is that I can't get the cap off easily. I have to hold the black base of the lip butter which has the REVLON brand logo on it. If your hands are wet or slippery with some cream then taking the cap off would be kind of irritating since you want to be careful that you don't accidentally drop it on the floor. Plus, disappointing thing I found that the quantity of the product is half of my pinky finger. The packaging is like an illusion of what you THINK the quantity MIGHT be but then BOOM reality hits in that you have been fooled!

Now about the experience of applying this lip butter: These feel like the creamy, glossy lipsticks rather then tinted lip balms so DO NOT mistake them for an expensive tinted version of a lip balm. They are super pigmented so the color you see is what you going to get. You need to be careful of how you apply it just like you apply a lipstick which is with in the coloring lines and not go crazy like you do with a tinted lip balm without a mirror lol. Just like how moisturizing a creamy lipstick is, is how moisturizing this Cherry Tart lip butter is. But not as super moisturizing as a good lip balm is suppose to be. So, if your expecting it be super moisturizing then you will be disappointed in that department.

This particular shade called Cherry Tart has shimmers on them and if you look very closely then you will be able to detect the shimmers or else its not that visible from far if you look at it. Some lip butters has shimmers and some don't. Its like a buttery lipstick that after you apply it on your lips you wait for few seconds for the color to set on your lips. The butter and the pigments mix together and melt on your lip's body heat. After a minute you will notice more glossy looking lips. This kind of reminded me of The Body Shop's Delipscious Lipsticks formula. If you have used that one then you would know what I am talking about.

Now the staying power of this lip butter is 2-3hrs or so if you avoid drinking and eating but the moment your lips touched at ANYTHING then the lip butter will wipe off. But it makes the lips look plum and juicy. On the lips it feels like a thick gloss or waxy a little bit. So you know that its there on the lips, you can feel it. The smell of the product is okay. Smells a little vanilla like if you bring your nose very close to the product. The thing is that the formula is something like this that you need to reapply it again and again because the staying power is not that good and the quantity is so less that it will finish soon.

In the end: I like that its moisturizing and its a nice daily color. Loving the packaging and the quality plus the glossiness of the lip butter. I am more of a matte lipstick lover but some how I am not minding the glossiness which comes with these lip butters. Of course not happy with the price tag of Rs.600/- each with less product in them with the illusion of the package making you think you have more. Will I repurchase again? No, but I would like to try more shades in REVLON lip butters maybe later in the future ^_^. Though one thing for sure, it doesn't leave a lip stain effect once it wears off. Once the glossiness leaves, the glitter sticks and doesn't look that pretty anymore. So, either you can reapply for to get that glossiness effect back or wipe the whole thing off. But one thing for sure, ever since I started using this, I haven't reached for lip balms cause my lips stayed plump so its not that bad, just an over rated product. :)

Have you tried these yet? Which ones your favorite and what you think about them?

xo,
B.

♥Old expired lipstick but new discovered color♥

This is the only lipstick in my stash which is OLD and expired. I just recently fell in love with lipsticks so my collection of lipstick is very small. This was like my "first" official lipstick which I hardly ever wore and I never bothered to throw it out until now. Not for the color but for the expiration date. I was just bored and I was reorganizing my lipstick collection (which is very tiny right now lol) and noticed my ancient REVLON lipstick and I tried it on. And I was really surprised that the old color is some how looking good on me and it would be great for the Delhi winters!

Clicked in natural day light without flash.
clicked in natural day light without flash. Plain lips.
Clicked in natural day light without flash. This is how it looks.

I really liked how this color looked on me though of course i'll be throwing away this one and will purchase a new one soon though I haven't exactly decided which brand I want to go for. Maybe Revlon, Mac and other brands i'll try at the counter and see. ^_^.

What do you think about the Vampy trend for fall? And what about old lipsticks? lol. I kind of fear from collecting cosmetics because they get expired after a time and then it becomes a waste. So, I think 4-5times before deciding if I want to invest on a lipstick.

xo,
B.
