My Kaya Skin Clinic Experience : Aqua Radiance

Few weeks back I got a chance to try out their facial called the Aqua Radience which is priced at INR 990/- including tax. My skin type is combination dry skin plus acne prone on my T zone and chin.

AQUA RADIANCE is about :

Kaya Aqua Radiance is a revolutionary service which, for the first time, painlessly infuses vitamins as deep as 4.5 mm into your skin. Drawing on the healing properties of oxygen and water to replenish skin cells, this service uses cool and soothing supersonic jet sprays to gently slough off layers of dead cells, instantly enabling your pores to breathe while restoring lost luster. This deep cleansing process also unclogs blackheads, leaving your skin spotless and fresh.

Jet M machine, a hand piece with a specialized nozzle, directs a powerful jet of saline water onto the skin and its matching high energy sprays, cleanse and gently exfoliate the skin. Soon after exfoliation, nutrients such as Vitamin A+E, B5, C and Hyaluronic acid are infused at high pressure, resulting in better penetration. Comedone extraction is carried out using a special vacuum operated device.

That’s what makes the Aqua Radiance treatment so much more effective at exfoliating, hydrating and rejuvenating than other superficial care.

Kaya Skin Clinic is known for its “clinic” kind of services. Very hygienic, super clean place. When I reached the place, they made me fill in a form about my past health related with name and address, so on. Since I wasn’t feeling thirsty, the person who was in charge of my facial took me to the facial room. Since its an Aqua Radiance facial which will be super watery experience the Kaya woman tide my hair, had to wear one of those dust cloth shower cap and cotton for my ears.

Really apologize for not showing a “before” photo of my face because I was kind of down with beginning of the sniffles and by the time I realized to click a before photo, it was too late.  But as you can see from my “after” photo of my face, notice the cheeks and nose area? What I loved was how it looked so plump and moisturized. After the facial, my face looked slightly “younger” and a glow which lasted for more then 4-5 days and how my pores slightly shrunk.

Since this was a very watery facial, the water sprayed on my face continuously was cold as well and I was slightly down with cold (the beginning symptoms) so I would not suggest anyone to get this facial done when your  feeling slightly down health wise. Because so much of slime water was sprayed on my face and that too the cold temperature one that by the end of the day I got a bad case of the cold and I ended up being sick for a week.

But I was sick and stuck at home with glowing, smooth face lol. Very embarrassing for me to even mention all this here but I hope you learn from my own silliness misshapes.

Kaya’s Aqua Radiance facial at the price tag of INR 990/- impressed me. Its been more then 13 days now and my face still feels clear, because of their machine which sprays the slime water non stop, it exfoliated my skin very nicely in a deeper way onto the skin that it feels like all that city pollution is being cleansed away from my skin pores.

Before the facial my face cheeks felt more dry because of Delhi’s weather change, becoming more cold which was making my face skin more dry and no matter how much moisturizer I apply on my cheeks, it did not feel 100% satisfactory but once after I got the Kaya’s Aqua Radiance done, my cheeks felt plump and moisturized and once I got back to my usual skin care routine, I needed less product then before and now also its quickly becoming more cold in Delhi but my face feels good and not that dry as before.

Plus, with all that exfoliation because of the slime water sprays that my acne marks on my chin especially, kind of reduced. In the above photo, the photo was clicked right after the facial was done so my skin looks slightly red and sensitive but after an hour or so it became normal. Plus, the facial did not break me out.

Truthfully, I was having low expectation when I went to try this out because I heard mixed reviews of Kaya Skin Clinic services but now after my experience with this one, I really recommend this Aqua Radiance facial by Kaya for someone who lives in a city full of pollution plus, at the same time the price tag of INR 990/- seems like reasonably priced and since I liked it so much, I’m gonna go back to Kaya Skin Clinic for this facial again in the near future :).
